News Maul: The other weekend internationals

News It wasn't only England and Wales that had a run out this weekend, the whole of Europe was out and about playing the game.  Here's how they got on.

France 12 - 6 Argentina - Not a single try in this cowpat of a match in Paris.  France and Marc Lievremont are once again looking slightly mad and Argentina continue their relentless slide backwards since the World Cup

Ireland 55 - 0 Canada - The boys from the Emerald Isle score about 300 tries in this pointless win.

Italy 20 - 30 Australia - The Twickenham-bound Aussies were about as convincing as Arwel Thomas at a Victor Ubogu lookalike competition in this limp victory.  Italy are still struggling with the fact that their best fly-half would struggle playing for Pertemps Bees.  To add to Aussie woes, Palu and Barnes were crocked as well

Scotland 6 - 32 New Zealand (2s) - The All Blacks B team came, they saw and they leisurely perambulated around Murrayfield scoring tries at a canter.  Anyone who thought it would be different was either lyiing or insane.
