SHIT, GOOD™ Ratings: Autumn Internationals, week two

We've had another weekend of rugby to digest, let's see what the computer has come up with.

SHIT

Being an England fan: When I put the data for the England game into the machine it's output simply brought up last week's analysis with the caveat "MULTIPLY BY TWO".  Obviously I checked the calibration of the machine, but it was in perfect working order - England really are just as SHIT as last time, except given this week they were scraping a win against an Argentina side containing four amateurs then DOUBLE SHIT was the right result.

England post-match analysis:  In-between all the "We're disappointed" and "we want to play better" apologies, one thing is still shining out like a beacon of dayglo SHIT in the river of already fetid effluent that is England at the minute is that horrible quote; "but the most important thing was to get a win."  Moody, Borthwick and Johnno all used some variant of it on Saturday and it is probably the single most disheartening thing that I saw and heard from England all weekend - if we want to move forward, we really have to move on such unhelpful fundamentalism. (Lowlights of the game are available in the sidebar, if any of you are in the mood to be depressed/amused depending on your nationality.)

Wales: Wasn't just England that were suffering this weekend as the Red side of the border scraped a win against a Samoa team that had roughly about 47 minutes training together prior to the match.  A Welsh overlap inside the Samoa 22 was turned into an interception try for the visitors because of poor alignment and a totally pointless attempt at a miss-pass.  Which summed it all up really.

GOOD

Rocky Elsom: A powerhouse performance once again from the blind-side superman.  Australia must thank every God they believe in, and quite a few they don't, that he came home from Ireland to take his place in the side.

Ireland vs Aus:  With the general quality of games so far, this was a revelation.  Fast and end-to-end with two teams playing with a tempo and dynamism not seen so far this series - some more of the same please.

France vs South Africa: See above.  Also SA have now lost to Leicester and France on this tour.  Best in the world, my arse.   Highlights here. However, you have to have some sympathy given what this bloke did to their anthem.

Let's have your nominations and observations in the comments. I also have not seen the Scotland game, so any comments you have on that will come in useful.
